We have been toying for ages whether to buy a home in this area.
Anyone near there/from there that can give me some first hand experience?
I think we might rent for a couple of years (monthly or less) and ultimately move in , at least for the Winters.

Keep holding off to see what the Market does but of course-that's always a crap shoot!!

We want to move to Florida very badly. I don't want to wait for the market to turn around. That could take forever.

The Real Estate Market is very good right now...We sold a condo in St Pete's years ago for a whole lot more than the lovely homes are selling for at the moment!
