Last year, we flew to CA. This year, we are going to drive. I would like to take the kids to an orange grove, preferrably a pick your own. I have done some internet searches, but I have not found anything specific. We are crossing AZ on I-40. Does anyone know of a place in AZ or CA? Thank you!!!

I don't know if you can pick them yourself or not but Redlands, CA has a lot of orange groves (although less than there used to be because of how much it's being built up). The cities around Redlands might also have something. I know Riverside has Citrus State Park. I've never been there so I don't know exactly what you would see but I know it is centered around the citrus industry that used to be so abundant in the area. The oranges are a big deal in Riverside and San Bernardino counties so that might be a good place to start looking. Ironically, Orange County doesn't seem to have enough room for orange groves anymore but maybe there are still some around for people to go see.

Bumping to see if the reply count changes......currently showing zero.

Thank you LavendarPeach and Corpsebride! The kids have done apple picking and love to eat apples. I'm hoping that maybe if we go orange picking; they'll like oranges, too. You never know with picky eaters!
