Orange County School Holidays

This site lists Orange County public schools holidays (click the "School Calendars" link on the left side ) for the 2003 - 2004 and 2004 - 2005 school years, in case anyone wants to avoid going to the parks when the local kiddos are out of school.

Thanks so much for posting this. My kids are out of school the entire week of Thanksgiving so we are heading to Orlando. It was nice to see that the local kids will still be in school most of the time we are there.

Just out of curiousity, what is the concern with the local kids being in school? Is it because you feel the park will be emptier?

Yeah, in a way it helps if the locals are still too busy to visit the nearby parks. This is the case for at least Tampa. We went when Tampa was in school and it was pleasant. Out of school (day off...not summer) and it was MADNESS!! Huge crowds at Busch Gardens and Adventure Island...even used a grass lot for parking too!
