Mayor Demings lifted the mask mandate/ State of Emergency in Orange County Fl. It was still in place even after Governor DeSantas lifted it for all of Florida. Orange County has a less than 5% coronavirus infection rate for 14 straight days.
All restrictions are removed😊😊😊
It will be interesting to see if Disney drops their indoor mask mandate.

"All of Florida" never had a mask mandate.

I figured Disney would transition more gradually but maybe they will just remove all restrictions. I’d support masks only when you are truly ‘inside’ being the next step. Standing inline for Slinky Dog, no mask. The Bugs Life show, wear a mask.

They seemed to follow right along with the Mayor on the last announcement so I'd be surprised if they don't follow suit again. I'd expect the same as Universal at this point. No more mandate, but recommended for non-vaccinated.

Everyone has a right to wear a mask if they want. I don’t agree with those who want to keep the restrictions for the rest of us who are comfortable moving forward. If you are uncomfortable continue to wear a mask.

Agreed. Personally I'm over wearing them if I don't need to. But I think it's good that wearing a mask won't be seen as "strange" anymore for someone who wants to wear one when not feeling well or something.

We went to Six Flags over Texas on Memorial Day weekend and it was a bit of a shock to the system not to be wearing masks (daughter did, as she has only had her first shot) and no social distancing. Everything was pretty much back to normal. I will admit that it took me a little bit to adjust, but it was really nice. This is the whole point of being vaccinated. Looking forward to DD being able to let go of masks in a couple weeks (second shot today!!!!) when we visit Disney.

Personally I just don't understand the people that want stand so close to me in line they might as well be sniffing me...

Can we at least keep some distance in lines please?

Right? It just doesn't make sense. If you're at a concert or sporting event or waiting for Happily Ever After then I get it. But why would anyone want to stand anywhere that close to me in a line when they don't have to? I know I'm not attractive and pretty sure I don't smell so great.

Hopefully Disney no longer has the "fill in every available space" policy on ride lines and actually lets people have some personal space. Even before covid I didn't like to be right up on top of random people.

This exactly! Personal space, please. Disney World is already getting rid of extended cues. From the vlogs I have seen recently, there was very little distancing in some of the cues.
