Oral contraceptive users...??? for you

Do these drugs make you b@#%y???? I just started back on them Sunday & I'm more cranky than normal!!!

Are they generic or name brand? I was nuts on generics, but ok when I switched back to my name-brand. My gyn said "Yep, that sure could happen." If not, ask your dr to try another brand. I've found that some make me nuts and some don't. Or as my gyn said "that's why I have so many to choose from..."

I remember being pretty moody when I start or switch brands. The side affects always fade away after a while for me though. (for the most part )

For 2 weeks (right before and during) I can be a real -*-*-*-*-. DH definitely knows what "time" it is... it's a combination of my hormones and the Pill that I am on. I also get weepy and my cravings are insane.

If the gripyness doesn't go away after your first month, you need to call your doctor and let them know. They may not be the right amount of hormone that your body needs!

I just started back on mine and I am a lot more cranky, emotional, get aggitated much more easily. Im hoping this will go away after the first month.

I haven't used them in 10 years. From what I remember, they didn't make me b@#%y. They made my face break out though.

When I was on them not too long ago, they didn't for me. Actually I was put on them to mellow my moods out and they did. I was so much nicer when I was on them, but I didn't like some of the other side effects so I went off.

I can't wait a month to see if it goes away, my family is in jeopardy!!! I guess I'll call the doctor tomorrow!

LOL, my reaction was the exact opposite!

i think every person can have a different reaction. i agree that if it doesn't go away in a month, talk to your gyn.

Oral Contraceptives huh?? They didn't make me b%$^%* until I realized I was PREGNANT with DS...LOL Guess it was truely meant to be...

(ok so mom and sister both conceived on the pill think they could have told me??)
