Options for ticket if needing to reschedule trip

What are the options for a ticket if you are no longer able to go on the date you selected your ticket for? I have a coworker who has an upcoming trip to Universal/Disney World. Due to some reasons related to Covid, she is no longer able to make the trip. She is trying to figure out what her options are with her Universal ticket. She is worried because on the Universal site it says tickets are non refundable, non transferrable, and only valid on the date selected. She is planning on going in the next couple of months and would like to move the ticket to that date.
 
Tell her to contact UO and see if they will make an exception on their policy
 
They usually allow a credit to be used toward a future purchase of tickets. Just tell her to call and ask. They are pretty accommodating, especially now with covid.
 
My coworker tried to call them yesterday. The person she spoke to told her no refunds or no changing anything on the ticket. The date on it, is the date it has to be used. She tried calling again this morning. She told the person that for covid reasons she is not able to travel. Apparently they gave her a lecture about the tickets not being refundable or changeable but because it was a covid issue that they would give her a refund.
