Hi, looks like were going in Dec. Our plans have changed from a nice quiet get away to opening the trip up to the whole family. So far it looks like 4 adults and 4 children. Im just wondering what DVC options are available. We will prob. be looking at renting points as this seems to be the most economical way to stay on property. Any Ideas?

It does depend on ages and sexes of the group. In theory a 2 bedroom DVC unit would work for you.If you're looing to rent points I would suggest you look at an OKW unit, they are fewer points and a bigger unit, although if you're looking to spend a lt of time round the pool BCV has the best pool options of the offerings.

2 studios would also work, but would be a little cramped. Studios at OKW have 2 queen beds, other resorts have 1 bed and 1 fold out couch. All studios have a kitchenette that includes Microwave, small refrigerator and coffee maker. With 4 kids along, I'd opt for the 2 bedroom, personally.

if you get along great with the other people going a 2-bedroom is great - however - if you don't or you might not for some reason - go with the two studios - two studios rent for the same as a 1-bedroom so they are less points.

a 2-bedroom has to be together - 2 studios can be on the same floor or not - they can even be in different building (which I will definitely do next time)
