hello! Saw a recent Jan navigator that didn't list optional dress-up. Did they discontinue it for 3 and 4 night dream sailings?? I'm sailing 4 nights in March.
Thanks!

Best answer (guess) at this time - maybe. It could be a glitch for that particular cruise. Or it could be a trend.

Just got off the Dream on Monday (sigh..). optional dress up was never mentioned. Only cruise casual or whatever they call it

Ours was 3 day, maybe that makes a difference. I'll double check my navigators I still have them

One note, sometimes the Navigators are wrong. Since they are printed each day, sometimes the information that changes daily doesn't get changed.

So, there could have been a "dress up optional" night, but the Navigator may not actually say that.

We sail on our first cruise on Monday-4 nights on the Dream- I was really looking forward to dressing up so I hope it's still an option! :confused3

Thanks everyone! I have a specific dress I was going to bring for dress-up that I wouldn't bring otherwise so I'll keep watching!

I stand corrected. Our last night was dress up optional!
I don't remember even seeing it. We dressed nice that night, but not overly dressy. Sundresses and pants and golf shirt. I felt we were on par with what most were wearing

I also finished the 3-night Dream cruise on a Monday. I did notice the note "optional dress up" on the front corner of Sunday's Navigator, but it was easy to miss. I don't know if our servers mentioned it the night before because I was at Remy on Saturday. Most people didn't seem much more dressed up on Sunday than on Friday. There were photos being taken in the atrium on Sunday, as usual on the "dressier" nights of our longer cruises; I am not sure whether there were also photographers on the other nights.

If you want to wear a fancy dress, go for it -- there will be others dressed up, even if many aren't.

You can dress up every night if you want or you can dress down every night. It really is up to you.

This! I have never understood why people feel like they have to dress down simply because a night isn't designated "dress up". It was always optional anyway - but no one is going to say "you are too dressed up to come in".

I believe it was just cruise casual now. Haha I'm sailing on march 13 on the dream, also a 4 nighter.

jeans allowed in Palo - i couldn't believe it. maybe just for brunch, we didn't have dinner there last cruise. this was on the Wonder.

Unfortunately, it seems people take cruise casual to mean cut off shorts and pajamas?? So if they do away with even the suggestion of dress up optional, i can only imagine how people will interpret that.

But my point is, no one is saying that you cannot dress up.

On the March 13th sailing too!!! Looks like it might have been a misprint. I saw one from the end of Jan and it listed optional dress-up on night 2.
