Hi all - opinion please - it’s just my husband and me for a quick trip (5 nights) in early Sept. I have a 1Br STD view for 114 points but now I see a Poly studio is available for 89. We’ve stayed at a 1Br at BWV many times and I really do love it there...but now I see that a Poly STD studio is available and wonder if I should switch. I use an ECV at WDW and I will be alone during 1 of the days. MK and Epcot are my favorite resorts. We’ve never stayed in a studio but for a short trip - I think this might be the time to try one out. Will being close to TTC for Epcot and monorail for MK and better pool (I detest clowns) offset the space and kitchen and laundry of BWV?

Only you can make that decision- the Poly stuidos are of course some of the largest, but you already secured perhaps the best bang for the buck room on property with the 1 bed standard, which I personally love. However, if you have not tried the Poly, it may be a good time.

I myself would stay with BWV, but if you will spend more time at MK go with Poly

Moot point - snooze you loose - Poly is missing availability for 2 days of my days now - so I’ll stay with my BWV 1Br!

You will have more space for the ECV in the BWV 1 BR, plus inside hallways., that may come in handy as Sept is often a rainy month. At Poly you will need to go out side a fairly long distance to get anywhere.

I know it’s too late anyway, but we just did a split stay a two poly/bwv both in a studio and I would pick bwv even as a studio hands down. And a one bedroom vs a studio is even better. I was really excited to stay at poly and the resort was nice but it was very very loud. Our room was centrally located which was great for my mom with mobility issues but unfortunately it meant we could hear everyone on the stairs outside. And while the split bathroom was nice, there was no storage space. We had to leave the ecv in the hallway whereas boardwalk it fit nicely in the room.

Good to know - thanks!
