Optimal method for setting up iLL$ purchase just before 7am?

So you can book, let's say Rise of the Resistance at 7am. What is the best way to play the maddening fastest finger game and be ready to rock right as the phone clicks over to 7am? If you wait until 7am to refresh your tip board, you could get stuck with the forever spinning/loading issue. So what's the fastest way to refresh and get right on those coveted iLLs?

I don’t think that there is any alternative to refreshing as soon as the clock hits 7:00. Getting the spinning seems to be a matter of pure luck.

But, unless and until things change, if you can’t get a time you want right at 7, trying at 7:17 has been a sure way to get a good time that doesn’t change much, if at all, once you click on it.

If I had a trip coming up in a week or two I would be checking at home at least a few times to confirm that the 7:17 phenomenon is still holding. As long as it is it’s an easier and less stressful way to get a time very close to your first choice. On my trip two weeks ago it worked on 3 out of 3 days to get great times for ROTR, FOP, and Remy.

Yup! The 7:17 time worked for me on two days of my trip also!

It’s risky tho… not sure how long it’ll be that way.

But you have to refresh at 7, no other choice. You have to refresh to be able to book

I refreshed a couple times before 7. Then at 659 I’d click on the view details on the attraction I wanted to book first. When the clock hit 7 I’d hit the LL button on that screen that took me back to the tip board with that attraction at the top. I then went through booking fast. I wasn’t connected to the hotel Wi-Fi and never had an issue.

You can put the attraction you want at the top of the list before 7 AM.

In short, as soon as you have park reservations, you can use the My
Genie Day feature of MDE to select favorite attractions at each park. That places an “edit selections” button on the tip board and you can use that each day to place one or more attractions to the top of the list.

It's been funky lately but the last few weeks, ROTR has become available again after 7:10am. Think it was Saturday but you could still secure Rise at 8:30am. Might have been a fluke but as PP mentioned, more iLL$ come up about 15 min after 7am.
