Did you notice a part about automatic renewal? I saw people posted on it and I just got done fighting with popular mechanics (another hearst mag) about them automatically renewing us. Make sure you check the fine print.

You have to select the 'auto-renewal' on the drop down to have that feature. The choices for this magazine were:
1 year $5
2 years $24
1 year auto-renewal $5

Pick the first one and you are all set

You can always go to 'manage subscriptions' under your amazon account and it will tell you when the magazine will expire and you have choices to renew or do auto-renew.

this is not auto renew unless you choose auto renew. I have ordered several magazine when offered at $5 from amazon and have had no issues as of yet.
