I dont believe it. Why would you be attracted to someone who has totally different interests as you? You'd be..........bored.

Well, I dont completely agree with that. For me, at least I would get bored being with someone I am like. More often I am attracted to guys much unlike me. I like having some things in common, but I wouldn't like being with a guy that agreed with me all the time and stuff like that. I am attracted to many different boys but the type I seem to go after have different tastes in music, clothing, opinions, etc. It's like hes day and I'm night, but I think it makes a relationship exciting.

I think anyone can be with anyone. I mean you see all these sort of films that suggest the "populars" go with the "populars" the "geeks" go with the "geeks". But then you get the odd film like, "A Walk To Remember" when the popular kid gets with the geeky quiet chick.

I think that you are attracted by affection for each other. If you feel something for that other person. You have a few things in common a few things not in common. It's however you react to the other person.

Well, thats how I see it anyway And I dont have a type really. Although, if you have mad hair, I love that. Different colours, Big styles. I like that.

I would get bored if I dated someone opposite of me. There would be nothing to talk about. And if there would be, the other would probally be bored because its not what they like.

In a relationship, I'm all about personality. But looks have to be there too. I'm not saying he has to be hot or gorgeous or whatever but he has to at least look decent. I'm not into skin tight jeans/shirts or skater shoes or long hairdos. I like jeans that fit and are a little loose, tshirts that fit and hair cuts that look, "nice". But thats just me.

Hmmm, that's an interesting question. I suppose in some cases opposites to attract, and in some cases not. I guess it just depends on what type of person you are into.

I'm a very artistic, creative, passionate & bubbly girl.
I'm into art, food, fashion, that sort of stuff

I've dated;
a bland, boring, no personality type guy
an emotional, sensitive, passionate guy
a guy who was my exact twin (personality/interest wise)

it didn't work out with any of them.

my current boyfriend is VERY into sports, he's popular, smart & funny.
he has absolutley no interest in drama or art or poetry like i do, and i have no interest in sports.
he is a math/science guy i am an arts/english girl.
we both have (almost) the same tastes in music and we have the same style (of clothes)
he has introduced me to a bunch of new things i never would've done before (going to sporting events, working out, wakeboarding)
and i have done the same for him (going to plays, trying new restaurants, watching independant films)

we aren't exactly polar opposites, but we aren't the same either.
we are a perfect balance of both i guess.

Having someone who enjoys different things can introduce you to things in his/her world. You may find that you like something completely new to you. And that's always fun.

The only way to make him realize you exist is to talk to him
You can't expect guys to start everything. He probably won't notice you unless you make yourself noticed.
