I liked the "5 things I hate but everyone else seems to love" thread and thought is there anything "I love that everyone seems to hate"...here's my 5:

5. Sci fi Dine in theater...food is ok but the ambiance is really cool.
4. The new Tiki Room...I honestly don't remember too much about the old one and I actually think the new one is a cute way to kick off your vacation
3. Living with the Land ride...love the entire ride
2. Disney Quest...I was a huge arcade fan in the 80's
1. Food at WCC...Love the Canyon Skillet, in my opinion it was way better than the food at Le Cellier.

I like this!! (I couldn't post on the other one 'cause I couldn't think of 5 things that I hated :) )

So ...
5 things that I love that others might hate:

1. The American Adventure -- I don't nap here, I don't get bored. I love the whole progression beginning to end, all the songs, and especially the film montage at the end and the finale!

2. The film at the end of The Great Movie Ride -- beautifully edited, totally sparks emotion.

3. Illuminations -- now, i know a lot of people don't hate this ... but I think it's the best that WDW has to offer, and I'm listing it because I like it soooooo much better than Fantasmic.

4. Cape May Cafe -- I've lived in New England, I grew up and currently live on the Jersey Shore now and love seafood. I like the clam chowder and the other seafood at Cape May Cafe.

5. One Man's Dream -- fine, I know Disney history fans love this too ... but i could spend hours just in the exhibit hall.

(can I make my list longer than 5??) :goodvibes

I almost posted this thread myself, LOL!! I started the other one, but this idea is just as good!

Mine are:

1. Hall of Presidents - I love, love, love this attraction! Of course, I'm a Republican, so I may not like it as much now with Obama! ;)

2. American Adventure - I absolutely love this show and get teary-eyed every time!

3. Eating out of the refridgerator case at AKL. I know most people love TS restaurants and also frequent the CS restaurants; but I'm fine with a ham sandwich and apple from Mara right out of the refridgerator case! Oh, and a Mickey Ice Cream Sandwich!!

4. Staying at AKL - So many people complain about AKL being far away from everything, but with a dedicated bus, I don't think it takes any longer as you aren't waiting for the bus to make other resort stops (such as at the Epcot resorts). Plus, the animals add so much value here - I just think it's the best Deluxe deal there is.

5. Disney Transportation System - I love the buses! I do NOT want to drive on vacation, so when those Disney buses pull up, I am in heaven!!

1. Sci Fi - we love it there
2. Tomorrowland Speedway - this is a tradition for my DS and DH to ride this as one of the first rides of the day
3. Dinoland at AK - WE LOVE IT HERE - we go early and there is nobody there. We ride everything like 5 times in a row without having to wait in line. Plus we love the carnival games.
4. Cosmic Rays - I don't think people hate it - they just dont love it as much as us. ;) This is a MUST eat place for us.
5. The Garden Grill - we LOVE it here.

1-The San Angel Inn. I actually really like the food here, and the atmosphere as well! One of the more romantic dinners we had.

2-Hall of Presidents. I have heard it rumored that when they reopen it, none of the presidents will talk, which BUMS ME OUT!

3-Sci-Fi Dine in Theatre. I like the food and think the overall idea of the restaraunt is just REALLY cool!!!!

4-Carousel of Progress. Not sure if everyone loves/hates this, but I really love it. It holds a certain type of nostalgia that I think needs to be kept in tact.

5-the WDW transportation system. I like the buses, found it all to be very convenient. This includes Magical Express.

this thread is a good idea... :) here goes ...

1) dole whips are getting alot of hater-aide in the "hate" thread. i DO LOVE THEM! They are wonderful, tasty, refreshing .. i could go on and on...
2) The Disney transportation gets hated on alot as well. they do the best they can .. and ive never had a problem with it. youre on vacation .. so just kick back and relax! take any setbacks in stride. :cool2: I've got love for the monorail, buses, and boats :lovestruc
3) Hall of Presidents ... even though, Im totally not lovin' obama .. i think the overall message is terrific.
4) Coral Reef - it seems to get alot of terrible reviews online .. but ive always had a great meal in a lovely atmpshere :thumbsup2
5) ....
i dont have another one...

1. American Adventure makes me tear up

2. Ellen's Energy Adventure is a MUST DO

3. I'll also say Sci-Fi...great environment and love the vanilla coke

4. I know people don't dislike this but Harbor House is the BEST counter service place!

5. Always buy a Coffee Crisp bar at Canada....best candy bar

1. Chip 'n Dale (can you tell them apart? I can!)

2. The electric water parade (I am obsessed with it.)

3. Peter Pan (Lots of hate on the other thread, but I love it for nostalgia)

4. Country Bear Jamboree (I don't know if other people hate it, I've always loved it since I was a kid)

5. The Grand Floridian (Lots of people find it stuffy, I feel the opposite. Where else can you feel comfortable walking through the lobby in shorts and a T-shirt and see wedding gowns?) :lovestruc

I had a harder time coming up with this list than the 5 'I hate but people love' things. I'm not sure what that means.

1. Disney Buses - I guess I'm just not in a hurry to get around the World anymore, but I'd rather bus than drive. This goes for the rest of the transportation, too.
2. Hall of Presidents - I've always loved this, even as a little kid. Never fallen asleep once. ;)
3. Tomorrowland Speedway - I'd like to see the cars updated with something less polluting, but these are just fun to ride around (at night, especially).
4. The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse - It's a classic, and has a lot of cool details in it if you take your time and look around.
5. Country Bears - They need a refurb (or would that be a re-fur?), but the songs make me giggle, corny or not. I bet Lil' Buford had it coming. :rotfl:
