Opinons on Shutters

Every time I read the Shutters menu - I'm tempted to go there. They've always got a few things that sound interesting, but I never hear anything all that positive about it. Any opinions? (I'm not staying at CBR, but will have a car so transportation there is not an issue).

We stayed at CBR last Aug. We went to Sutters our first evening there. It was pretty good. Service was quick. No complaints.

We stayed at CBR for our wedding, as did our family members. They went to Shutters *twice* and are still raving, 2 years later

I went 3 years ago... and really liked it. I think the menu is really the same since then too.

We always stay at CBR (except this year!!!!!!!! ) and we finally tried it in 2005. I thought it was pretty good. Enjoy!

ate there 2x...awful.1st time,The prime rib was a slab of fat with a ring of meat on it, and was cold.2nd,The waiter ignored us the whole time, and again the food was undercooked.SO I won't go back, but lots of people love it.

We went last Oct and had a party of 9. The food and service was great!

Good and bad dishes. Worst pasta dish I've ever had (literally tasted like they had poured straight vinegar over it), but that said, the crispy chicken wings (apps) were extremely good and the french onion soup was so very good, it would make you drool. Otherwise, my DH thought the prime rib tasted good, though it was fairly fatty as well. It's one we go to only when it's raining too hard to go elsewhere since we are staying at CBR. That said, although we've had some negative meals there, it's not horrible, just not high up on the list.

I saw a review on the review section, that really made me want to eat there. The potato crusted fish dish looked devine!
