if you contracted with someone for an ongoing monthly service, it involves daily care of your property, and after 5 days of the care the person essentially says they weren't paying attention and cannot meet your requirements. You decide to remove your property immediately, which you do later that day.

When you delivered your property you gave them a check for the entire month in advance, standard practice. Now that you have removed your property and the person was fully informed of your requirements on multiple occasions, including the day your property was dropped off, and said nothing, would you stop payment on the check?

Do you feel the provider is owed anything for the 5 days. One bit of information, the care over the 5 days did not involve any extra effort on the persons part, already was set up for this. No good were consummed.

Would you pay what they want seperate and send a second check after stopping payment on the first or would you allow them to send you the difference.?

I am worried that may be a" when I get around to it" kind of thing. We are talking an amount of money less than 200 dollars for the month, and 30 for the 5 days.
