If steak is the number one priority, Yachtsman's is better for that purpose since they offer 4 different steaks (Porterhouse, Strip, Rib Eye, and Filet). While their beef isn't dry aged as long as most prime steakhouse aged beef, they do age it on site.
That said, Narcoossees is our favorite Signature location for the whole family. Not that Yachtman's isn't wonderful (the food and service are great and we very much enjoy it), it's just that we think Narcoossees has the edge in atmosphere and overall service. We love the GF, and the atmosphere at Narcoossees is what I like to call casual elegance. Time your meal an hour and a half before the MK fireworks, and you'll likely finishyour entrees in time to order dessert and cofffe....then go watch the fireworks from the deck while they prepare it. Hard to get more magical than that. Oh, and the fact that you will be able to see the Electrical Water Pageant while you dine is also special. As for steaks, Narcoossees only offers a Filet, but it is very good, and always cooked to perfection. Narcoossees is also the only place you can count on Surf and Turf and whole Maine lobster.
Sometimes Yachtsman's will offer lobster, but it is not always on the menu. Case in point our trip a couple of weeks ago. All week Yacthsman's had a surf and turf on the menu, and we made our reservation. The night of our reservation, and we are walking to the podium to check in, and they start changing the menu on the stand. You guessed it......they took the surf and turf off. We let them know we needed to re-evaluate whether we would keep the reservation, as we were really looking forward to lobster. While we were thinking on it, the manager came over and let us know that, while they didn't have any whole lobsters, or claw or tail meat, they did have some knuckles available, and could put something together for us. They did a nice job.
