Trying Jet Blue out for the first time this March on a JFK to Ft Meyers flight. Anyone have any comments or suggestions? It will be 2 adults (me who HATES to fly) and 2 kids. All answers are appreciated :)

We flew Jet Blue to MCO last Christmas and had no problems. My DB and his family fly to Ft Myers on Jet Blue on a regular basis, and won't use any other airline. We are using them again this December, and the only thing I don't like is going to JFK Christmas week - very very crowded. They are good giving you credit when the fares come down.

We live in Rochester (NY) and JetBlue came to our airport a few years back. We just love it. My DD loves the TV on the back of the seat! It sure makes the time go faster. The connection in JFK was not biggie. The gates were right next to each other, so connection issues.

We flew from JFK to Orlando last April and are going again next month. We all loved it...Mom, dad, three kids. (Mom hates to fly!).
The t-v's are a tremendous help...all 5 of us just kept watching. (You get your own individual t-v in front of you with your own earphones.) One channel shows the progress of your flight. I watched on the way back as we flew into some clouds and turbulence over South Carolina...and the whole time I just kept waiting for the plane to get on the other side of the clouds...and once we did, the flight calmed down!
As you know, there's no first class...just one long section. When you book on-line, after you've paid, you get a diagram of the plane and get to pick your seats! So we like to book early and take seats are far up front as possible. I think we have rows 6 & 7.
The crew was also very nice...and fun.

I fly Jet Blue quite a bit. Sometimes the fares are amazing, other times they are quite a bit higher than my good old standbye of Delta. Jet Blue is famous for their low cost/affordable base fares but after adding in the taxes and additional fees often they are just competitive if not higher than the "major players'.

The tv's are a nice feature (especially for cross country flights) however the last 3 times I flew Jet Blue the tv's were not working. Once they were upgrading their Direct TV systems and twice they were just malfunctioning.

I personally find the crew to be terribly obnixious with their constant babble over the PA system, the clapping for take offs and landings and the general immature behavior of the attendants. I write/work on most flights I am on and find it horribly annoying and intrusive. My opinion is attendants are there to serve me, not entertain me.

If you can get a bargain Jet Blue serves its purposes. There "frequent flyer program" called TRUE BLUE is not on par with the major airlines.. the points awarded for flights (they do not award miles) are low and it takes a L-O-N-G time to accumulate a free ticket.

We flew JetBlue. We first used them 2 years ago and we're quite happy with them. The seats are just a tad roomier than most. You have the in flight tv with quite a variety of channels. The prices are great and with the exception of lastnight (2 hour delay for weather) we've always been either on time or early.

Go for it; you'll be glad you did.

Jet Blue is my favorite airline! We're giving Song out of JFK a chance later this year, but have been very happy with Jet Blue.
