Opinions please

Only our opinion but having stayed both onsight and in a villa we much prefer the convenience of the facilities in a villa. The washer and dryer alone is so valuable and I'm sure with two 4 year olds would be mightily useful to you and has been said it's so good to go home eventually without suitcases full of dirty clothes needing washing - also cuts down on the number of clothes required to take with you. Relaxing is so much easier in a villa away from the action. It is law for the doors to the swimming pool area to be alarmed, so just keep the doors locked (each door tends to have three different locks as well as the alarm) and you can be confident they're safe while in the villa.

The place you mention does seem some distance away and distance will become an issue as your holiday progresses. There are lots of properties much closer to WDW at a similar price I'm sure I would recommend communities close to Formosa Boulevard off US192 of which there are several. These are within 6/7 minutes of Animal Kingdom. There are others of a similar distance a little further east which I suggest you might also investigate. There are many disers who have more experience of where to stay who would be only to willing to offer advice. wayneg is a fount of all kinds of information and has stayed in all kinds of hotels and villas. A regular poster, he is now a moderator and is always willing to answer questions. Personally we have stayed in many different villas and although some have been better than others there have been none that we have been unhappy with so I suspect you would be very unlucky to find an unsuitable place to stay. Best of luck in your research.
