We should be arriving on Tues June 15. Hopefully around 1 or so. Can we do MGM (just me and DD5yrold) that day/night? She wants to go to MGM because we skipped it the last 2 trips but is going in that late in the day ok for crowds, character sighting etc? Would it make a difference if it was on Wednesday?

EMH is that day at MGM- I wouldn't go there in the afternoon. The next day will be A LOT less crowded, as everyone was there on Tuesday for EMH. Just be sure to arrive 15-30 minutes before park opening. Tuesday evening is one of the slowest in the MK, and will be less crowded than MGM. AK and EPCOT are good choices, too- but if I was going with a 5 year old I would go to the MK.

Since Tuesdays are EMH for MGM, I think I would avoid that park. We always have to start our trips at MK. :hyper:

Thanks for your help. I am doing our schedule now and still struggling to fit certain things in at WDW and a day at Universal. Would you guys do e-ride night at MK? How crowded is MK in teh hours before the e-ride. do you know? Thanks

If you haven't done MGM in a few trips maybe you could trade out a full day for another park you've done more. If you haven't been in awhile you may want to arrive in the morning so you can get more done. There's always a chance that by mid afternoon on a busy day FP's could already be gone for some of the major rides.

Eride nights are worth it :) I wouldn't worry too much about the crowds beforehand, there is no need to do attractions until the event starts. Just stroll the park and take in any entertainment available. The thing I would consider is the age of you daughter. Most rides during enite are more suitable for older people, and I wonder if a 5 year old can stay up that late without being miserable. You would be better off I think doing the MK for rides at park opening with a child that age. Just some food for thought...

Blessings.

Thanks everyone for the advice. I think the late hours of the park will probably be the latest we stay. I am not used to summer hours (we usually go in winter) Now after all this woorying and planning my DD5 has decided that she only wants to go to universal. (made the mistake of telling her shrek was there and spongebob) so now I am definetlt trying to fit that in and deciding what to skip at WDW. What WDW park would you skip out of Epcot and MK and MGM?
