Had to cancel Disney this summer because it's not in the budget.
I'm trying to plan a a 5 day visit to Williamsburg instead. The Woodlands is offering a buy one or more night and get a free night promo. So, stay 3 nights at $185 per night and get one free (total $555). This is a suite with free Colonial Williamsburg and daily breakfast. We'd buy park tickets separately. The offer says one night free per reservation. Wondering if I could book 2 separate reservations of 1 night each and then get 2 free nights? I would check out and then check back in later. At this rate it would be $370 for all 4 nights. I think it sounds shady, but it would save $185.
Or, stay at Powhatten Village condos. $103 per night. No tickets included, no daily breakfast. Total-$412 plus all tix and food, etc.
Anyone have experience with either of these places? Also, I'm a teacher. Are there any educator's discounts?
