I'm trying to decide what TS restaurants to eat at, and now that we've bought the DDP I'm trying to get the most bang for my buck.

I have decided to go to CRT for Breakfast one morning as we have a 5 yo that truly believes she will grow up and be a princess.

I'm trying to get your thoughts on the following TS. Any other suggestions would be great as well.

Just as an fyi, it's myself, my mother, DS(12), Niece(5), Nephew(7)
The ones I'm thinking of are:

Trails End - Dinner
Ohana - Breakfast
50's prime time - lunch
Boma - Not sure if breakfast or dinner would be better
1900 Park Fare - Breakfast
Biergarten - Lunch or Dinner
Chef Mickey's - Breakfast
Whispering Canyon - Dinner

Thanks so much!

I'd go to Boma for dinner as you already have a few big breakfasts planned. Check out the rotation schedule for Boma to see which night you'd like to go, its posted often so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

Biergarten for lunch or dinner is a hard choice. Generally we try to not eat lunch at TS restaurants as it can waste good park time depending on when you eat. If we do in-park TS for lunch we try to eat a bit late that way we can go back to our resort to rest at the hottest time of the day.

Trails End - Dinner - I'd replace this with Coral Reef
Ohana - Breakfast
50's prime time - lunch Take a look at the H&V character lunch to see if it appeals to your 5 and 7yo
Boma - Not sure if breakfast or dinner would be better Dinner is the bang
1900 Park Fare - Breakfast
Biergarten - Lunch or Dinner
Chef Mickey's - Breakfast
Whispering Canyon - Dinner

Trails End...breakfast here is best meal, since you are on DDP, not best way to get most out of
Ohana...dinner is better, but no characters
50s...we like this one, food is good, and lots of fun
Boma...both meals are good, but I would go with dinner
1900...had dinner once, not impressed
Biergarten...Dinner will have more choices, like this one
CM...good choice
WCC...another fun place with good food

Just my opinions here...

Trails End - Dinner - Love it! Actually prefer breakfast here, but they have great fried chicken.
Ohana - Breakfast - haven't been (yet)
50's prime time - lunch - Love it! Not so much for the food (though it is good) but for the atmosphere. Especially if you have a waitress/waiter that is really into playing a part.
Boma - Not sure if breakfast or dinner would be better haven't been (yet)
1900 Park Fare - Breakfast haven't been (yet)
Biergarten - Lunch or Dinner haven't been (seems a bit too noisy for us)
Chef Mickey's - Breakfast haven't been for breakfast, but went for dinner and really wasn't impressed with the food. The characters were good though.
Whispering Canyon - Dinner haven't been (yet- will be trying for first time during our September trip.)

I've been to 50's PT and Ohana and I would pick Ohana every time. My DH loves the sausage at breakfast and I love the view of the castle and the character interaction.

Now I wish I could squeeze it in for our trip!

Best Wishes.

Have you thought about doing breakfast at the Princess Storybook in Norway instead of CRT - takes 1TS credit instead of 2. Just mentioning to get the most out of DDP - Cindy is not usually at the Norway meal and it isn't the castle but is a good mix of princesses and the breakfast is pretty good.

I've only been to 2 places on your list!

Ohana - Breakfast - Great breakfast with characters.
Whispering Canyon - Dinner - We love the crazy antics of this place and I have a great picture of my daughter with about 20 bottles of ketchup in front of her. She was 4 and loved this dinner, I would imagine it would be even more fun for the 7-10 year range.

Ohana - Breakfast Have read nothing but great reviews, trying it this Saturday

50's prime time - lunch Always awesome

Boma - Not sure if breakfast or dinner would be better Breakfast is to die for, a must do for us, we will be eating there on Sunday and I cannot wait

1900 Park Fare - Breakfast Terrible food, horrible character interaction and so loud you feel like your head is going to explode

Biergarten - Lunch or Dinner Awesome food and atmosphere, great music and dancing

Trails End - Dinner
Ohana - Breakfast
50's prime time - lunch...haven't been in a while but have always loved the place

Biergarten - Lunch or Dinner Menu basically the same so I would go for lunch
Chef Mickey's - Breakfast..skip it..the food is so horrible it isn't worth wasting your time/money/credits on
Whispering Canyon - Dinner..never been a fan...why not try Artist Point

If you're looking to get more bang for your buck on the DDP, definitely go for dinner (not lunch) at Biergarten.

We had a fabulous dinner there last February. The desserts, especially the fresh apple strudel and vanilla sauce, were to die for! I would recommend you get an ADR for some time around 7:00 p.m. The best view of Illuminations IMO is right there outside the restaurant.

I tell you--walking outside the Biergarten to see Illuminations--it doesn't get any better that that. :)

Also, unless I were staying at Fort Wilderness and wanted to dine at Trail's End for the sake of convenience, I'd pick something else if I were looking to get value from the DDP.

Trails End - Dinner
Ohana - Breakfast
50's prime time - lunch
Boma - Not sure if breakfast or dinner would be better
1900 Park Fare - Breakfast
Biergarten - Lunch or Dinner
Chef Mickey's - Breakfast
Whispering Canyon - Dinner

Thanks so much!

Boma dinner is fantastic!! Best quality and variety dinner our of trip actually!!
If you do dinner, be sure to eat very light the rest of your day because you need an empty stomach to truly enjoy this one!

We loved Biergarten! We did dinner, but I can see lunch being just as fun!

We don't care for Chef Mickey's (thought the choices were kinda blah & found the buffet to be sorta dirty & not well kept-saw lots of kids sticking their hands in the food-yuck!:scared: ). Character interaction is very cute. We are two adults, no kids though. For little ones, they may not care about the food.
If you want a FANTASTIC character breakfast (food, location, characters), I'd recommend Crystal Palace with Winnie the Pooh characters.

For most bang-for-the-buck on DDP (TS meals) . . .
. . . do not use it for any breakfast
. . . do not use it for any character meal
. . . do not use it for any dinner show
. . . do not use it for *most* lunches
