Received a Walmart ad today. There is a tent (12X10) on sale for $49.64. It is an Ozark Trail.
As I have posted, we have an older, cabin style tent that I cannot put up myself without becoming a total grump. Someone on these boards
wave: ) suggested that certain dome-style tents are much easier to set up. We are a family of 5, and was thinking of purchasing 2 smaller size domed tents (which brings up my second question, down below). This is a great price, but I also know you get what you pay for. I don't want to invest TOO heavily in new equipment, but realize I have to in order to get this family out the door and into the campground! (Plus, I am secretly hoping that Santa will bring me a pop-up!).
Second question, other than FW, how do most campgrounds or state parks feel about more than one tent per site? Is this the 'norm' now days, with most tents being the smaller, dome style?
Anyhow, any and all opinions would be appreciated. And, if I haven't said it lately, you guys are the best!!
