Hi everyone, I posted this before about the rooms that have the separate entry to the bathroom as opposed to not - and I"m wondering if you can give me your opinions as to what you like better?

I know "privacy" is an issue - however, it will be just my family of four and my kids are small so there isn't a whole huge privacy issue for us.

What I'm wondering is does the non-separate entry create a "bigger" feeling? Any ideas welcome from those who have tried both!

THANKS!!! :)

Not sure why it would feel "bigger". The entry is in the wall between the laundry room and shower/watercloset portion of the bathroom. The door doesn't take up any space except to be a hole in what is otherwise a wall in both the bathroom and Laundry room. It is MUCH more private for the folks in the master! The door between the shower/watercloset part of the bathroom can be closed off from the extra sink, tub part so the master is more private.

I actually think that the separate entrance makes things seem bigger. With the separate entrance, you can keep the doors open when nobody needs the privacy and this would make the rooms seem bigger because there isn't a wall there.

However, either way, I think that the unit seems plenty big.

If you are going to be washing towels, it will be easier to just go through the door from the bathroom and dump them into the washer rather than having to walk all the way around to get to the laundry room.

Since the room is 'all family' and privacy isn't a hot issue, it probably won't make a difference either way. I agree though, if you're a towel washer it'll save a few steps to have the newer design.
