I never see this one mentioned much on here. I have a reservation there for our upcoming trip and I wondered if anyone would care to share what they think of it.
We're aren't very picky eaters and other than the lamb (I HATE lamb) everything on the menu looks good.
Thanks:)

It's a must do for us. In sept. we're taking everyone there for lunch. We've always had good food and the entertainment is always a plus. I love their jasmine ice tea and their dessert bastilla. Yummy.

We have been there a couple of times and enjoy both the food and the entertainment.. This restaurant is never crowded at all.
The beef brewat, Bastilla and the dessert sampler are all very good.
I think this restaurant is a hidden gem

I really liked it but DH did not. I know we had the combination appetizer which was very good and I had one of the Shish Kebabs. I would definately give it a try!

Went there for lunch & enjoyed both the food and the entertainment. The service was excellent. :goodvibes
I don't know if you like mussels but their mussel appetizer was yummy :lovestruc & the waiter kept bringing us more bread to soak up the sauce. It was enough for a meal. Definetly will go back again.

We have never eaten here but love Tangierine Cafe..last month we looked at the picture menu book the hostess has and the food looked amazing...we are trying it in three weeks...cannot wait. DH doesnt know about the belly dance, I bet after this dinner it will be on HIS must do list :rotfl2:

I loved it the last time I went but that was 8 years ago. We are going in two weeks! I will let you know. I wonder if the reason you dont hear much talk about it is that it is fairly ethnic food. I mean, people are used to chinese, and japanese and french - but Moroccan? I think a lot of people are probably afraid to try it.

We go there every visit b.c it is fun - they have music and a belly dancer. The food has been good - but it is typical EPCOT food. We really enjoy it - we are going this time b.c we think DD (who will be 15 months) will love the music and want to get up and dance. It is definitely worth trying. Besides I look at it this way - you can easily get french, mexican, japanese and chinese food at home - but I doubt too many people eat Moroccan.

We love it and always make it a point to have dinner there. If you like lamb, the lamb shank cous-cous is good and the roasted lamb meshoui is really wonderful. The lemon chicken w/ preserved lemon is good too! Once, I was introduced to Morrocan food, I was hooked. The belly dancer is a nice touch too!

we were there in Aug for the first time and loved it ! Even with 2 picky eaters (16, 9), we all enjoyed our meals. The cast members were terrific, and my 16 yo DS has about 100 pictures of the bellydancer if you need to see them ! My DD, 11, got invited first thing to go up and dance with her, and loved it. It will be a permanent stop for us from now on. Good luck !! :thumbsup2

I dined there but actually enjoyed the food at the CS - Tangierine Cafe better!

I've dined there twice and both times made my dinner out of the sampler appetizer platter. This allows me to try a few things instead of a huge plate of just one thing they offer. We also made the kids meals out of ordering a few appetizers. But the bill was $$$$$$$$$$. We also sat next to a couple who'd finished eating and just sitting around sipping some wine, I thought they were waiting on the dancer but about 60 seconds before she started they left:confused3 I wondered if they even knew there was entertainment about to start.

We loved our experience here. Although it's pretty mild in terms of authentic spices, it's as authentic as you'll come by in WDW. I just wanted to remind you to make your ADR around the time when the enterainment will be provided. If you are on the DDP, a credit spent here is a very good deal!

DH and I both love the chicken couscous. DS loves the beef brewat rolls. The only thing I don't like is the dessert selection. I'm allergic to nuts so that limits my choices.

We ate there in September. Party was my mother, dh, myself, dd(3) and ds (6). None of us really enjoyed out meals. The dancers were fun, though. :)

What time is the entertainment generally? We have a 6:00 ADR on a Tuesday night in September, I hope we get to see the belly dancer! We've never been there, but like to try at least one new restaurant each trip.

Yep...I agree. here in NY we have places with more authentic spices but overall i think it is a great place- good food, entertainment and it is beautiful inside.
