Opinions on Red River Grill

I assume you mean Big River Grille at the Boardwalk.

It would be very nice for a light dinner. The restaurant has good soups and appetizers, very nice sandwiches, as well as some good entrees. It is not terribly fancy, but a nice place for a meal. We go at least once each trip.

Oh, and don't forget the beer, which is brewed on site and is a nice change of pace from the rather ordinary beers available at most other WDW restaurants.

Great for beer, good for a burger, etc. Their meatloaf is also very good--.

It's nice to hear some good reviews of this restaurant even though we will not go there again. Maybre it's improved.

Both times we've eaten there, the food was only mediocre (for example, hot entree delivered cold an partialy cooked), and the service was poor (non-existent. Waitstaff virtually ignored us - too busy chatting with each other).

I would not recommend this place unless you are going primarily for the beer - it has a micro brewery. ESPN has better food and much better service. JMHO. YMMV.

Limited menu choices but decent food. A place well known for their beers.

Not a place we will go back to either but had a pleasant meal just nothing special about it with so many other choices in WDW.

We like it. Great meatloaf, they had pecan crusted chicken that was also very good. I love sitting on the Boardwalk and having a relaxing meal, watching the people stroll by.

We go there on every trip, and I always get the meatloaf, plus a beer of course!

Love the place...

The sandwiches and meatloaf are the best entrees, and the waiter had no issue with me nipping along to the boardwalk and splitting a crumb cake among our party for dessert.

I'd especially recommend the honey mustard chicken sandwich... had one a few days ago, and as usual, it's fantastic.

My DH and I try to stop at Big River every trip as well. It is very relaxing sitting on the Boardwalk, sipping a seasonal brew and munching on the spicy cheese dip. We've always had very good luck with the servers there; they are always friendly and accommodating.

We enjoy the Big River Grille. Very good sandwiches and we're looking forward in December to trying that meatloaf I've heard so much about. We're not much of drinkers, but do enjoy trying the "beer of the season".

WE have eaten there and the food was fine. Found out the hard way they do not take DDE card as they arre not a Disney owned rest. They are a privately owned rest. So we don't go back as we have the DDE card. Wish they did take it as I love sitting outside on the Boardwalk.

We finally tried BRG on our last trip. We give it a thumbs up as weel. the pecan crusted chicken is very good. My husband had the rigotoni which he said was very good as well. Of course, we also like the beer!!

I just ate at BRG on Tuesday night. It was okay at best. The burgers my friend's had looked good. My steak was tough. Everything comes with either garlic mashed or kettle chips. Not many choices. Service was slow, she brought my second glass of wine when we were almost done. No DDE discount.
Said there was await for outside tables, but many remained empty as we ate inside. I also found it odd they tried to seat us at a high top next to a TV when there were plenty of regular tables open. It wasn't like we were 4 guys wanting to watch TV ina bar. I think they were just trying to fill server's sections.
We ate at several places at WDW during the week and this was by far at the bottom of my list. Also, very noisy.
