Opinions on our group of 10

HI!

Our first trip was in Oct (Halloween Party, Illuminations sparkling dessert party)!
We stayed at the YC w/FD and LOVED it.
We couldn't wait to start planning again, so here we go!
I have planned a trip Dec 11-16th at CBR w/FD.
This time our family of 5 is being joined with another family of 5.
We have our room reservations linked by our TA and are hoping to have adjoining rooms.
We are currently trying to figure out ADR's and special activities (MVMCP, Dinner Shows....).
It is hard to do without the park hours for Dec being released yet.
Does anyone have any tips for things to do and not to do with a party of 10?
ADR's that we are considering are WCC, H&V, 1900 F, BOG(L), CM,San Angels,Sci-FI.
We are thinking about the Christmas pary, Pirates & Pals Cruise, Star Wars Dessert Party...
We didn't rest during the day last time, and may need to this time.
We have park hoppers and want to utilize them!

Any tips/Ideas would be great! Thanks!

I would make ADRs for all 10 of you, then let each family worry about their own FPs, that way with all the other activities you plan to do together, you don't have to constantly be together.

We are not telling the 6 kids that we are going until we leave. 2 13yo/14yo Boys, 2 Pre-Teen Girls, and 2 younger boys (6&8yo).
We have a surprise plan were they will have to figure it out when we pull them from class that day.

One night Me and DH will probably take all of the kids to dinner and let the other couple have an alone anniversary dinner.

The first day is also my son's 14th birthday. I plan on ordering a small cake were we go eat.

We will be signing 4 of the kids up for JTA on our day at HS too.
