Considering this lunch for our sit down meal for the day, we are on the dining plan. The menu posted didn't impress me too much. Seems like it may be a waste of a sit down meal. Has anyone been here lately for lunch? What are your opinions of the meal? We have two sons, ages 4 & 8, and are torn between this and Crystal Palace for this day. Boys aren't big Pooh fans, but we have always enjoyed the food at Crystal Palace. We know we would enjoy this, but considered LTT for a change and to try something new. Any thoughts? Thanks!

LTT is one of our favorites and we always do it at lunch.

But having said that, if you are on the dining plan....I would do the Crystal Palace. It costs more, doesn't it? That way I would feel like I was getting more for my money. But that's just me, of course.

If you feel like it is a waste of a TS meal....then use 2 CS meals the day you are at MK and use the TS meals at EPCOT. Those dinners have really gone up in price! Or you could use a CS meal for lunch at MK and go over to EPCOT for dinner and use the TS meal.

Just ideas....but as far as the food at LTT, we really like it... :goodvibes

The pot roast is to DIE for!!!!!!!!!!!!! My DH still raves about it years later...yummmmm

My kids loved the burgers there. They claim the best in all WDW.
DH had turkey & I had salad and soup. All yummy,

Crystal Palace is great but I would try LTT. I love being served.

We eat at LTT for lunch often. If you go late .. after 2 .. is is nice and peaceful. The burger is very good as is the turkey dinner.

I had the big salad and thought it was very good. DH had the crabcakes and said they were marginal. But we're from Annapolis so I'm not sure what he was thinking ordering crabcakes in Orlando :confused3

I like that it's a nice quiet place to get out of the hustle and bustle of the park and rest- even if it's just for 45 min or so.

Our family thought Liberty Tree had the best food that we ate all week and we ate everywhere!

Someone recently posted pics of LTT's lunch on here and it made me want to try it (of course we didn't like Crystal Palace's lunch buffet). The only reason we're sticking with the dinner is for the characters, but next time, we're having those yummy looking sandwiches!

I must be different or we had a bad day, but we really did not see anything special about it when we were there last time for lunch :confused3 . For the price, I thought of many other places I would have went to. Especially on the dining plan, I would go for dinner for the characters and maybe dinner is a bit better?

We're also LTT lunch lovers. It's true that it might not be the best "value" on the dining plan since it's fairly inexpensive, but the food is delicious and the atmosphere is so nice and peaceful. It makes a wonderful break in the middle of a busy MK day. If you choose to go there, it should be because you just like the sound of it, not because you're looking to maximize your dining plan.

We've only been once, but I remember some great, hearty colonial fare. I loved it, and would like to go back, but not sure if they schedule will allow this time around.
