Anybody stayed in connecting cat 9 rooms on deck 2? I'm looking for opinions since my youngest said he would rather have a window than a veranda (fear of heights I guess). I also have read that some people feel less motion on the lower decks. Any info would be great!

I did not have a connecting room but stayed 2x on Deck 2. Room 2086 and 2088. They were both fine and not noisy and there is no motion. We were very happy with our rooms and will be sailing a 3rd time next year and staying on Deck 2. The outside cabins have very large windows. I thought the room was great.

We have stayed in those connecting rooms. They were great! My kids loved the HUGE porthole. Wish we could be in them again but alas, will be in cat. 10's this time (but still on deck 2 - we really like this deck). We didn't notice any noise except the laundry room is directly across the hall so you have to listen to people complain about doing laundry - my DH just said to me, we're on vacation - WHY not bring enough clothes and NOT do laundry!!! We are a family of 6 and didn't do any laundry and were gone for 15 days! You only wear bathing suits mostly during the days anyway........... sorry - way off subject !!!!

Anyway, we loved those rooms.
