DBF and I just switched one of our January ADRS from LTT to CRT for dinner. Does anyone have any recent opinions on CRT for dinner? We are two 20-something adults who do not have children but we thought it would be fun to eat in the castle and the photos I've seen of the inside of the restaurant look beautiful. I know the Fairy Godmother does some kind of show during the meal but does she also come around for pictures? Also, we are on the DDP but are paying OOP for this meal. Is it worth the money for a couple with no children?

Thanks! :)

We ate dinner at CRT Sept. 2006 and it was the worst meal of our trip....food wise. Not worth the money if we had been paying OOP. However, the service was very good as was the atmostphere. I'm glad we did it but we won't go back for dinner. Don't worry about being adults w/o kids...you'll be fine.

In my opinion, dining in The Castle is something everyone must do-at least once! The FG does not go around to the tables yet the mice do go around-yet very quickly so have your camera ready if you want pics! It really can be a magical experience!! I know it is an evening I will never forget. :wizard:

My husband and I (both 20 somethings) enjoyed our dinners at CRT both trips to Disney. You don't really go there for the food. But I don't recall it being bad. It was better when you could order off the menu and it wasn't a set menu.

The show has made the experience more "kiddy" but if you're in Disney chances are that doesn't bother you too much. I could do without the show. Its not a meet and greet. The mice do dance around table to table and it is possible to snap a quick picture. Fairy Godmother really doesn't do that. She may have interacted with a few children.

It is possible to have a romantic dinner. They seated us by the window and you can see the carousel lit at night. The couple at the table next to us actually got engaged.

Next trip we are going for lunch because I wanted to try something different, but I'm kind of regretting that I'm not going to have that night time experience. I hope you enjoy it :)

My husband and I were just there in September and celebrated our 20yr anniversary. The food was wonderful, my husband had the rack of lamb and it was amazing. The service was great and the show they do during dinner is quite entertaining. We received complimentary champayne flutes as a gift.
It was worth the money.
