Opinions on Celebration World Resort pls!

I just came from www.tripadvisor.com, looking for information on Celebration World Resort.

Mixed reviews......some people gave it only 1 star but others gave it 5 stars!

So now I'm undecided about whether we should stay there (timeshare swap). RCI says it's a Gold Crown resort but the bad reviews worry me.

Has anyone stayed there?

However since Spicey will be coming - I think even if it was a dump I would love it.

A timeshare that Spicey can share with me.

they say they have activities - lots of people say they don't.

Since I would have been there for a week - Sheraton's Vistana Resort before - I think I should be able to compare them.

Sheraton's Vistana gets very high rating.

II gives any new resort the gold crown for a few years - then if the activities haven't developed they will take it away.

okay I have read the review - boy they are certainly mixed....

the ones on tug also mentioned being send someplace else.

I hope this is not what happens to me!

in some cases - it looks like they overbooked their sales vacation - not the RCI ones - but in some cases they were definitely RCI.

I hope it is nice.

can you wait until I come back - Dec 4.

if you can't just go with it.

to complaint to RCI or II you need pictures - so take pictures of what you are given. In some cases Rci and II will give you another week in replacement.

especially if it is a hotel room....that is certainly not a timeshare!!!

We need to book this week.
We're going during mid-January on an RCI exchange and I can't stand to wait much longer to pick our place!!

I'd still like to hear what you think of the place.

We stayed there in Feb the place was great rooms where huge just like stated a condo washer,dryer,kitchen we had a two bedroom unit .the place was clean as far as activies we didnt check them out as we were at the parks or at there pool the pool was ok not great any more ? please ask or and we are going back in nov hope this helps

Hi all. I am also booked for celebration world resort from 12/21-12/27. I have never been to this resort before but got a fantastic deal of $195 for 7 days/6 nights that was too good to pass up. The most recent reviews from trip advisor have been good so I am saying my prayers every night and crossing my fingers and toes. If anyone goes before then, please post any info and/or pictures so that we all may see. Thanks!!

how did you get 6 nights for $195?????
