Although I wish we were getting married at WDW, the best I can do is honeymoon there.

Anyway, I'm considering having airbrush makeup done for my wedding in NJ, which can be just as hot and humid as Florida in August.

I should point out that my nose turns red if I have one drink, so I'm looking for something with good coverage without making me look like I'm wearing a mask.

Has anyone used airbrush makeup? Does it hold up in humid conditions? How is the coverage?

Thanks for your advice/opinions!

I did use airbrush makeup. It held up. However, Ana said that she doesn't like to use airbrush makeup on people with oily skin because it can't really be touched up.

I would reccomend a trial with the airbrush when it warms up and see how it works for you. I loved it, but had I not been married in December I probably would not have used it.

It's gonna be impossible to tell unless you do a trial with both and compare. People who used airbrush are going to recommend airbrushing, and people who didn't use airbrush are going to say regular makeup was just fine.

Personally, I cannot tell the difference between the pictures of people who used airbrushing and people who used regular makeup.

We were just talking about this over here :rotfl:

I am one of the people who has used airbrush makeup and is going to tell you I liked it. :cutie: However, I have also had my makeup professionally done with traditional foundation many many times, so I feel like I can give a pretty good comparison.

If your skin is oily, it's going to get oily no matter which kind of foundation you use. For me (I have oily skin) the difference is in the natural look and lightweight feel of airbrush makeup vs. the often cakey and heavy look of traditional foundation.

I am usually pretty obsessed with shine, and I did not notice it with my airbrush makeup until about 12 hours after it had been applied. So, before my dessert party, I dusted on a little powder and my airbrush foundation looked fine.

However, you want to make sure the artist you choose uses real airbrush makeup formulated especially for the task, not traditional foundation. It's too thick for the airbrush and doesn't look as good. :thumbsup2
