We're looking at Marriott Anaheim Suites and Homewood Suites by Hilton. Can anyone offer opinions on either? Thanks!

We are staying in a 1 room suite at the Anaheim Marriott Suites this week. We check in on Wednesday. I will try and remember to report back here.

Both are quite nice. They are a distance from the park, so you will need to drive and park or take the shuttle. The Marriott Suites is slightly nicer. My preference is the Residence Inn Maingate.

We stayed at The Homewood Suites in May, and really liked it.

-It is about a mile from the parks, but they have a great shuttle that runs every 1/2 hour for a small fee.
-Free daily hot b-fast
-free dinner/beer/wine M-TH nights
-Many restaurants close by
-Target right across the street......we picked up water and snacks there.
-nice pool area
-nice kichenette in the rooms
-really comfy beds

I've stayed at the Marriott Suites and really liked it. The bedroom was quite roomy, separate sink from the bathroom, the living room was separated by double doors--glass covered with curtains. It had a sofa-bed, coffee table, desk and chair, as well as fridge and micro. Only drawback was no complimen gary breakfast, although there is a Starbucks. Also the beds are doubles, not queens. But I totally loved staying there.
