Opinions- Ohana Dinner And Kids Meal

Ok.. I just figured out that I will be paying adult price of $28+ for my son at Ohana's when all he will eat are chicken tenders... nothing else.
Is the atmosphere worth all the $$$ for an ELEVEN YEAR OLD BOY? (never been but from what I have read think it is more girly girl)

I do have DDP so it would jsut be a TS credit but??? could be put to much better use unless the majority here think I should go...

I wouldn't do it. We love 'Ohana - my DH especially, but I wouldn't pay that for Chicken tenders.

For what it's worth, I always thought the food there was very mainstream in it's appeal. There isn't any unusual spices used, and it's along the same lines as comfort food. Maybe your son should try something new - he may find that he really likes it. My kids were 2 & 3 the last time we ate there and they both ate a little of everything on the table (except DS who was 3 - he ate ALOT of everything at the table).

We went last September when my oldest son was 9 and my 2 youngest boys were 6 - they had a blast! I would not call it "girly" in any way.
The coconut races are a little like floor hockey and who doesn't enjoy a good limbo dance?
The only hesitation I would have is that your son may be a little "old" for the festivities?

Thanks.. I am going to keep our adr as it is later on in our vacation week--- and as far as him being too old-- dd would have been too old at 7 but he is a total goof ball--- so he would like it... but I am leaning towards not going--- losing a ts credit for chicken tenders-- can't do it. I plan on paying OOP for the other meals like WCC and Kona for his tenders...
at least at the buffets he will eat grapes and ice cream and fries, and an adult amount of chicken tenders... kwim?
