Hello everyone!

We r looking at booking a trip in feb....my hubby, daughter 4, twin sons 23 mths, and my mom and dad. I am deciding between wed 8-mon 13 and Tues 7- sun 12. Any thoughts? Are we better taking advantage of a slower day during the week or the longer hours on the weekend. My kids are early risers
So it would be the earlier opening time we would be utilizing. How busy will it be on the weekend?

Also, can't get the entertainment rate at hojo so I am looking at booking a suite at the carousel. I want to stay someplace clean.....any other suggestions? I'd prefer a suite if possible. I see not great reviews of the desert inn and suites...but maybe it's worth it?

Thanks!!!!!!

I would span the weekend. This will give you a couple more hours on the weekend when the kids are awake. Also since you have the granparents with, you could go back to the park late. Wrapping up on a Monday will let you get in any rides you missed due to weekend crowds.

Weekends are always busy. Compared to those weekdays it will feel dramatic, though in reality the crowds won't be crushing like they are today.

I dont have an opinion on what days you should go. But I personally love Desert Inn & Suites. I will be staying there for my third time Feb.5-10. I find it to be very clean, the rooms are big and the staff is awesome. Some people complain about the beds. But I have never had a problem with them. Also the location and price can't be beat. So far I don't have one complaint about that hotel.

I agree with skiiingfast about the dates to go. In February, the parks should not be extremely crowded and you should have enough time to do everything that you would like to do. =)

We have release more “retro rate” dates, and as of today it looks like there are “retro rates” available in February. These rates can change without notice, so here is the link to our website that shows when the Ent rate are available http://www.boards.hojoanaheim.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=14.

Hope this helps!

I always stay at the disneyland hotel. This is not to say I wouldn't stay anyplace else but I get the rooms super cheap so it's not a big issue. (yes I realize this statement but you asked some questions).

Now here is where I can help the trip and the dates: You are going to find that going for 5 days is going to wear you out. Especially if you get up early and finish by 8. If you plan to DO see EVERYTHING you'll probably want 7 days but I know that isn't always econimcal. I've done both and I found actually weekdays are better than weekends. One the weekends the APr's FILL the park up. On a weekday especially early there are so little people.

With Gmah and Gpah you should be able to swap riders for ones like star tours and others. This is a good time to sit em down with an ice cream. It's easier to do this when the lines are smaller hence the weekdays. Take the later time and go to the trader sam's or just relax with family in some of the local downtown disney places!

OR maybe pick one day for the weekend so you can get the later time and the fireworks if your kids can stay up late.
