Hi, trying to decide between a few different places for our family who like to eat, so buffets are good for us, but we like good regular type food, not really into unusual type food. Not huge seafood lovers but will eat it. 6 adults and 2 three year olds.

Do you prefer CP for breakfast or for dinner? Don't know why, but I get the sense that the dinner food here is a little less traditional than CMickey's or Liberty Tree Tavern and a little more on the adventurous side. Never eaten here though so maybe I've just gotten the wrong impression.

Also, would you choose 'Ohana or WCC for dinner or Liberty Tree? I really think we need places to keep the kids entertained so that we can enjoy our dinners.

We're staying at the Poly for 6 nights in August.

Here are our ADR's any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Day 1: Chef Mickey's Dinner
Day 2: Coral Reef Dinner
Day 3: ?
Day 4: Kona Dinner
Day 5: Cape May Breakfast Buffet
Day 6: Crystal Palace Dinner - may change this if possible, depending on what you guys think
Day 7: ?

Thank you for any opinions or advice.

You'll like Chef Mickey's and Cape May. There is one side of a four sided buffet there that has some shellfish, and one fish selection, but it's a great buffet. The Character breakfast is wonderful there.

Coral Reef. Nah. Not nearly as good as it's supposed to be.

'Ohana is much fun for children. I didn't like Whispering Canyon at all, food, or atmosphere. Rather like trying to dine in the middle of a K-Mart Blue Light Special Fire Sale, ya' know. :sad2:

Can't comment on the others. Haven't been to CP, or CRT. Doesn't appeal to me in the least!

Hope this helps a bit.

OK, I love Kona--it is one of our favorites. Good choice! Only been to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but again, something we love & do every trip. I think Coral Reef is "okay" according to the reviews--but I've never eaten there. 'Ohana is fantastic. Kids love it, and so do adults. It is a great experience. I don't see a World Showcase ADR on here- how about trying to get Le Cellier? It really is as good as everyone says it is! We also love the 50's Prime Time. It is regular food like you said that you enjoy, and it is super fun for kids. Have a great time planning!!!:goodvibes
