I completely understand the cancellation terms. The escrow account we are setting up protects the owner and myself. The owner gets 100% of the money the day of check in wether or not I actually check in. So if I'm a no show he still gets paid 100%. The money will be paid into the escrow once I receive the reservation confirmation and held in escrow until the check in date. It's 100% nonrefundable. It protects me from having a reservation changed from my name to someone else. If an emergency comes up I have the option of renting the points to someone else on my own and he will then change the reservation names. I have family going the same week. If something terrible happens and we can't go, we could sell or give them our week. It's a fair deal for both parties.
