Opinions needed - CR/Poly/WL???

Hi All!

We are looking for 2 rooms for just one night :-(

We'll be visting the park after a 3 day Wonder cruise

The kids are 5/7/10 - so I think we want to stay in the MK to best utilize our time.

What are your recommendations regarding Poly, WL and CR?

Which would you pick - and why?

Since you are just visiting the MK, I would recommend the Contemporary Resort. It's the most convenient because you can walk to/from the MK. If you're tired on the way out of the park, the CR is the first stop on the resort monorail.

And don't forget Chef Mickey's!

Depends on where you want to spend most of your time. If MK, then any would be fine. We staryed at CR & loved it. It's nice being on the monorail.

This trip we are staying at WL.

If you are planning on spending most of your time at Epcot/MGM/or AK, then I'd stay at a hotel closer to them.

My guess is that we'll spent most of the the time at the MK - that's why I'm trying to decide between these 3 particular resorts.

We've been to all the parks before, but this will be the 1st trip for my nephew.

Is there such a thing as a 2 day hopper pass in case we want to try the other parks?

I would vote for the Contemporary also. The rooms are large, you can walk to the MK (or catch the monorail). It's very easy to get the monorail to the TTC and transfer to the Epcot monorail. There's a snack bar and game room that's open 24 hours (at least the snack bar is) and the buses to the AK and MGM are very convenient. Also, the garden wing rooms are very reasonable in price.

I believe you can get a 1 night/2 day Ultimate Park Hopper which would allow you to go and come as you please. I'm not 100% certain of that, but I seem to remember reading that it was possible.

We've stayed at the Contemp 3 times and for me, it was the most convenient hotel we've ever stayed in. And my 5 year old absolutely loved watching the monorail go by inside the hotel! Well, my 13yr. old and my 3 yr. old did too for that matter!
