I am not a frequent traveller. Going to Orlando and WDW from Dec 2 to Dec 12. Travelling with parents who are seniors, national quoted me 333.96 (including all taxes) for an AARP/AAA rate for an intermediate car. Is this reasonable ?

Should I shop around ? Would like to stay with a rental company located in MCO, do not want to have to take a shuttle.

National is a premium brand, providing premium service -- typically a level above what most vacationers really need to have a reasonable change of a positive experience. There are other brands (I'd recommend Dollar and Budget) that are often lower in price, and provide a level of service sufficient for most vacationer's needs. (I don't recommend Alamo -- while they're very inexpensive, my experience is that their service is far below what is reasonable.)

I agree the Priceless Contract ID is a good one (6600330). If you have an entertainment book, there are $20 off coupons in there. Combine that with their contract id or the one above and you should do better.

I just ran a check for your dates with the ID above and the $20 off code out of curiosity. I came up with $278 and change. You may be running in to a time where lots of cars are rented.

I would suggest running a check on one of the search engines to see what they can come up with. I like to use www.orbitz.com

Good luck.
