opinions-missing the last week of school

My son will be going into first grade and the school he goes to they dont celebrate ANYTHING because they dont want to offend anybody, and they dont do any parties because they dont want to leave any kids out or food brought in that a student might have allergies too..etc.....so no holidays, no parties, etc...

As for snow days...from what I have heard they RARELY have any..there were major complaints this past winter because they made the kids go to school on days the parents felt like there should of been a snow day...
