I am hoping to have an Escape wedding next fall. We are hoping to keep it very small and very simple! We are telling our families that we are eloping and if they want to come they are welcome, but if they cannot make it, we understand. No pressure! I have some questions!

1.What time would you plan a dinner for at the California Grill in order to see the fireworks? Is it a good view or a weird side angle?? Is there a F&B minimum or could we just get a table with regular guests? WOuld we be able to hear the wishes music?

2. Same question but for Narcoosees, what time would we plan for dinner? I am concerned about MNSSHP, that the fireworks times would be different. ANy ideas?

3. What time would be a good ceremony time to follow it with a fireworks view dinner?

4. Would it be tacky to have a morning ceremony followed by a character buffet brunch? ANy character resteraunts you recommend? We think this might be fun!

5. What is the least expensive location & minimum number of people for a dessert party? Would we be able to have one with a small group? Where can I find dessert party prices?

We had dinner at CG the night of our wedding, only it was just the two of us. Our reservation was for 7:35, and I believe the fireworks started at 9. We got seated pretty quickly, and were eating dessert when the fireworks started (although we were going pretty slow- there was no rush- they told us to take as long as we wanted).

They turned off the lights and piped in the music for the fireworks. We had a great table bc it was a special "Sweetheart Table" reservation, we also got custom menus that we kept with our names on it. There was a family next to us who was celebrating a birthday and they got great seats too- so if you emphasize when you make the reservations that it is a special occasion it seemed like they give you the red carpet treatment!

I have to add that our fireworks were the special MNSSHP version, but it didn't make much difference to us. They were beautiful and definitely a once-in-a-lifetime kind of night.

MNSSHP fireworks are always at 9:30pm unless of rain. One rainy night they went off at 10:02pm

I think the latest ceremony time is 4 or 4:30 so I'd suggest that one.

This one is hard, because the earliest time is 10am, and most breakfast locations stop serving around 10:30-11:00. I'd suggest Chef Mickey's because it's classic characters, or 1900 at the GF because the food is amazing there.

I don't think the character brunch is tacky at all. Earlier today I post some questons about this myself. I think for our Escape wedding this is a much more reasonable option then having our own brunch. With a 10:00 wedding I am worried we will make brunch in time.

We are looking at a dessert party at Sago Cay at the GF. The minimum we have to spend is $500. Email me if you want me to try and forward you the dessert menu that Disney sent us. It is another $500 or so to get the music from Wishes (if you want).
