opinionated -- or smart and well informed

 Pop Daddy.

I dind't realize she marched against apartheid in South Africa in the 1950's.

Well I am watching MSNBC and one of the newcasters sung her praises in PA. Said she was involved in her state. Sounds like someone who would actually do something positive for America. I definetly felt like I got to know her a little better.

Gosh, from the title I thought you were talking about me! ;)

I have, at various times, been called all three. Plus stubborn, cranky, brilliant, scary, bubbly, etc.

Well I don't know much about her. Does she have any control in the Hienz Corp.? Or just the name (and Money)? If she had any pull it would be nice for her to stop the outsourcing of jobs by that company and bring them back to the states. Like her husband says in his t.v. ads. That would be a positive thing for her to do for America. But in today's buisness world it's probably run by a board.

I think she is opinionated...but is that always a bad thing?

Opinionated = smart and well informed.
She has control over the Heinz endowments. This translates
to her being one of the most active philathropists in the
United States. 70 million in grants a year. She makes the
decisions. She's wonderful and obviously adores her husband;
he likewise.

I think she is a strong individual that knows what she wants. This intimidates men, especially those in Washington.

I'm not terribly impressed by somone who is philanthropic with money they didn't earn. I'd also be interested in finding out what types of charitable organiztions or causes she supports with her late husband's family's money.

I do agree that a woman with a strong personality is perceived as threatening. She just has to be careful that her strong personality & "opinionatedness" (is that a word???) doesn't translate into "loose cannon". If Senator Kerry is elected President, she's going to be in some very stressful difficult situations at times, so she must learn to maintain control.

She's authentic. She's real. She's refreshing.

As long as she doesn't cause any international incidents or accidently start any wars she can say whatever is on her mind as far as I'm concerned.

It would be nice if first ladies didn't have to act like "Ken's wife" or like they just won the "Mrs. America contest".

Don't worry,we'll make sure none of your favorites get any of it since she didn't "earn" it herself. Good grief, most large sums
of money are administered by people who didn't "earn" it. Those
earners are usually dead. BTW, she inherited it after being married to the guy for 25 years, having his children and becoming
his widow. Not many women her age have had the opportunity
to "earn" this kind of money any other way. K?

I don't think telling a reporter to shove it is either opinionated or smart.

I honestly would not have thought twice about it if there was not such a big fuss being made about it.

She told off a reporter. I don't really care.

i found it ironic it took her 13 mins before she talked about her husband.

oh wait i better edit this, if she sees me shes gonna tell me to "shove it"

yea thats smart and well informed

The idea was to get to know her as well. It was her intro to the USA and I think she did better than most expected. Frankly I was thrilled that she spent 13mins talking about herself. In fact she could have added minutes to it. I enjoyed the info. :D

i guess it is more important to know about canadidates wifes.
