Highly classified goldfish experaments here people!!!
Objective: To keep a goldfish living for more than one month.
Materials: Fish tank, fish, fish food, varius tank decore, special water from the fish store.
Cost List:
1 Gallon Fish Tank with rocks, and plants: $24.00
Fantail Goldfish: $1.99
Fish Flakes: $1.49
Shell for tank: $2.99
Water from fish store: $.79
Okay, I got the fish, whom I will call Skateland, last night. I left the bag floating in the water for 15 minutes and then opened the bag and used a net to transfer Skateland into the tank. He proceeded to swim around for a few hour before both of us settled down and went to sleep.
Today I woke up and gave Skateland his fish flakes. Obviusly, Skateland is not a morning person because he was still very dorment as I put the food in. I went and put my clothes on and came back to check on him. He had awaken and went to the top of the bowl to eat. He was still eating when I left for school.
When I got home I went in my room and he was waiting for me. He was at the top of the bowel so I gave him a little flake as a snack. He ate it and went to the bottom by his shell. Wish me luck. My mom says if this fish lives untill Monday, I can go get him a friend!!!
I will keep you updated on my fish because goldfish are so unpredictable with things(like dying for no reason). That way you can see if my care was good and maybe I can help YOU keep a goldfish alive.
