Has anyone done their shoe boxes yet? Dh and I went shopping yest. We are doing 4 boys.

We got these plastic boxes in walmart that have a handle on them. I hope they are not too big.

Most of the stuff we got at the dollar store. I centered it around the disney cars theme.

One year we did a girl box in addition, but with 3 boys I am just clueless as to the girl things, so I just stuck to the boys. We picked 5-9 years old.

I cant remember if they need to be in this week or next?

This is a project I really enjoy doing.

Haven't done ours yet. Need to hit the dollar store tomorrow.

Ours are due next Sunday the 21st.

I am just wondering if anyone who did these signed up for the part where they tell you where they send your box.

I got an e mail today that a box was sent to Georgia (my dh goes to Siberia on business so he probbly flys over there) and...
another was sent to Zambia (africa). Our friend was a missionary there so I have seen lots of pics etc.

I dont know about the other 2.

I dont know how it exactly works. But we gave 4 altogether. Went to the same collection area etc. Just wondring how they send these etc.

I know on another thread a dis'er said she volunteered at the collection center in NC.

I know 4 little boys are really going to be blessed this Christmas. Puts a smile on my face thinking of their utter joy!!
