Agreed but the transatlantics are always the cheapest per night of just about any other cruise Disney offers, so maybe that is not a fair comparison.Yeah, it looks like Disney and I are coming to the end of a beautiful relationship. Every year I hope for a miracle, but these prices are NOT it. They just seem to get worse every year. These prices (for us) are way over the top and, except for maybe the TA (and that's on the edge of no), I'll look elsewhere. Also, the required deposits are insane!
NOTE: NONE of these include insurance or transportation, and none were booked with OBB:
Disney Fantasy:
7/27/19 ~~ 11-night Southern Caribbean: 2 Adults in 8B Oceanview: $4,059, $4,059 -- port fees/taxes 254.16 = $8,372.16 (this oceanview costs more than the 13-night with a balcony below!)
Below are all Disney Magic:
5/12/19 ~~ 13-night Repo Transatlantic from Miami to Barcelona: 3 Adults in a 7A: $2,860, $2,860 and $975 -- port fees/taxes 402.87 = $7,097.87
7/21/19 ~~ 11-night Dover to Copenhagen: 3 Adults in a 7A: $5885, $5885 and $2200 -- port fees/taxes 487.38 = $14,457.38
8/1/19 ~~ 7-night cruise from Copenhagen: 3 Adults in a 7A: $3,920, $3,920 and $1,505 -- port fees/taxes 457.29 = $9,802.29
8/8/19 ~~ 10-night Copenhagen to Dover: 3 Adults in a 7A: $5,390, $5,390 and $2,000 -- port fees/taxes 569.25 = $13,349.25
For comparison, we are booked on the Magic's Aug 26, 2018 Norwegian "Fjords" cruise (they called it "Fjords" this year, but the itinerary is much closer to 2019's Sept 1 "Northern Europe" cruise). We are paying $5630 with OBB for 2A2K in a cat 9C. And that was booked a couple of months after opening day. I experienced some slight regret when I saw the 2019 itineraries, since I think the 2019 Fjords cruise is much nicer, but I'm not sure I would have paid the extra couple of thousand it would cost by the time I added two kids to your quote. Geiranger looks amazing, and I will definitely go there one day, but maybe not on DCL. Goodness knows what their prices will be like by the time I get the opportunity.
Anyone else feel that the 11 night southern Caribbean on the Fantasy is quite a bit less expensive than LAST year?

True, but Disney's TAs are not cheaper than other lines TAs by a long shot. Guess I'll be holding out hope for those new ships![]()
I hope that adding more ships (and more availability) will drop the fares some. Would like to do Alaska on Disney again, but that is not going to happen at the current rates.
I hope so too! But I'm not holding my breath.I love Disney but the prices today have ruled it out for us in 2019. Thanks to everyone posting prices. Appreciate the help.
