Opening Ceremony on EE day at Magic Kingdom?

Does anyone know if the Magic Kingdom Opening Ceremony (with the Mayor at the train station) still goes on on an EE day? I'm going on a pretty short trip in Sept., and my only MK day happens to be a morning EE day, and the Opening Ceremony is a must for me.

Its called "Morning EMH" these days and yes it IS performed for the early EMH crowds (and NOT again at "regular" opeing time) on EMH days.
