Opening a Disney Visa

I just got a deal in the mail today to open a Disney Visa and if I spend $500 in the first 3 months I get a $200 Disney GC. We leave for our Disney trip in less than three months and I would like to get the gift card before we go so I can use it on the trip. Does anyone know if you make a $500 purchase right away, if they send you a GC right away or do they wait the entire 3 months? Thanks so much!

I'm pretty sure I got mine within 2 weeks of spending $500. All I remember is wow they were on it!

I got the same deal in the mail also. Was thinking of using it to pay $500 towards the package I already have booked for Sept so I would have plenty of time for the GC to arrive.

I've done this 2x with this deal and get them quickly after the $500 spent- My first time I think I got the card like 1 month prior to my trip, spent $500 quickly, and ended up picking up my $200 GC at the customer service dept at Disney World because I needed it quicker than they could mail it. I was able to just give CS my card and they gave me my GC. It was so easy.

I'm considering signing up my husband up for one for our upcoming trip...

Is this for the premier card, or just the standard (no annual fee) card? I have the no annual fee card, and I think my gift card was only $50. $200 is pretty good!

Can you get the Premium Card and still keep your Original Card Account as well?

This is exactly what we are going to do as soon as our card arrives. We opened it last weekend.
