Thanks for the welcome backs...

Moo it is freezing here. And I have a sun burn that doesn't help.

Lil'G you are lucky to get the Aug repo trip. It was sold out on the boat only cat 3 left and the is out of our league. She said to keep watching for cancelations.

I did look back....

Woooohoooty Pumba on 17,000 posts. Wow

Wooohooty to UMA on 3000 post too. Tooth Fairy was busy at your house. Glad they weren't your teeth.

And all that talk about cake....I ate to much cake and Mickey bars. The weight Dre and others lost it all came to me.

Marita I was thinking about you and praying you were okay when we were watching CNN on the boat. Glad you are okay. Loved the dress code posts.

I know I am missing something .....

We're having a big pooh: issue here in Michigan with some of the confined animal feeding operations (factory farms) that have moved into the state.

My shirt was similar Moo... sorry about your dairy air problem. I have to say that swine are worse. And actually I used to have a job downwind from a chicken farm and that is by far the worst.

Did ya see my Mad Skillz???????? If I could get a dang countdown clock to work it would say, "MommyP's gang's going back to the world to the place it all began, 4 nights at ASMu in 25 days!"

AND I just got DH to sign off on a new pair of CROCS for the babe. Well, he's getting his brother old pair and the brother is getting a new pair. The babe threw his out at Walmart before Christmas and I couldn't find it anywhere! :sad1:
Hey Mommy P! I did see that you have mad mad skillz indeed (two trips planned and the word Poly is out there!).... Congrats! I totally understand the shoe issue. I spent hours combing the mall after one of the twins lost one shoe (they were stride rite and very pricey and the only pair she owned)... no on seemed to understand that I HAD to find that shoe. I have been thinking about your stroller issues but I have no advice. I liked my DuoGlider (yes it is long and unweildly and folds up kinda big and has no cupholders and you certainly can't steer with one hand but when I had my twins there were only two stollers on the market that could hold two infant seats and the Graco was half the price of the Peg perego model). It still works but Little Man cruises in his Chicco umbrella stroller. I LOVE IT! It doesn't have much storage (but you can hang 3 full backpacks off it). It reclines slightly. Has a little sun shade... but it folds up and weighs less that 4 lbs! Has a shoulder strap so it is perfect for WDW where you are getting on and off of busses, trains, etc etc. I saw a cool looking jeep brand double umbrella in the parks. My advice is if you are going to have more kids go ahead put some money in one that will last you.

We were suppose to be home at 9:30 last night and didn't get home until 4:00 am. Snow storm in Buffalo and got to turn around and go to Balitmore for 4 hours. It was a long day since we were up at 5 for immigration Saturday morning.

Hi NAB! I loved getting to talk to you and wished it could have been longer. Your trip home sounds frightful. Good thing that you are all such a cute and cheerful family. Glad you made it home!

:ee utahm gal..me & wheat thins are dying to expeirence a lil'

Ahhh Lil'G. You are such a sweet guy. Always willing to make sacrifices for the cause and such. I am sure that Utah would love to have more pack mules, um, er, I mean friends along. She needs to tote 44 oz of Diet Pepsi for each hour she is in the park. And don't forget the whisper of Cherry!

Wheat Thins: Love the new avatar! It is so you.

Twink, fortunately the dairy farms near me are not too huge or stinky! Those are mostly in West Michigan (((knock on wood))). As are the MUCH stinkier swine and chicken farms. I agree with you there.

We recently learned that we have the threat of a new airport in our back yard. Or former back yard, if they end up siting it here. They have narrowed it down to four possible locations. There is so much farm land here, I'm thinking that the Right to Farm laws might come into play. But that is also a factor for all of the other sites.

It will probably come down to who has more local pull, as usual. Goog thing our Township Supervisor farms the land behind us! I need to have a chat with him. My DH signed a petition against the airport relocation, but those things rarely do any good. Maybe we need to transplant a threatened species here!!!

I am ready for a nap....

All my wash is done. Why can't they not make a dryer to keep up with the washer:confused3 Then hubby thought he was doing me a favour and put to much in the dryer and now I have to iron.... I like UMA idea of throw away clothes.

MommyP lucky you. Going back to the WDW. I agree buy a good stroller if you are going to have more so it will last. Happy birthday to your baby too. Your youngest is 2, now it is time for that girl....

Moo that would be awful to have an airport in your back yard. We have trains but I am used to them now.

Last Sunday I was at the spa at this time. I must go thank SD for that tip. Since we were in port at Key West they had a great deal, you could do the villas for the price of a couples massage. The Villa has a hot tub on the deck, a bed kind of thing too. They leave you in there for 25 mins. before you massage. Lets just say very romantic.....with a veiw of Key West. Then we had the hot rock massage and back to the deck and bed/lounger for fruit and drinks for another 20 mins. We didn't want to leave and hubby was glad we did it. He was only going to send me. I have him hooked now.

Hello Nab. Welcome home. It sounds like an unhappy finish to an otherwise good trip, but at least you are home safely now. I rather like having a sunburn to keep me warm when I come back from vacation to snow and ice. I hope your's isn't a bad burn, though.

Nab! That sounds heavenly. Glad your hubby enjoyed it so much too!!!

You should try "tumble pressing" your clothes in smaller batches. Just throw the worst clothes back in the dryer on the usual temp for 15-20 minutes to de-wrinkle them. Sometimes I dampen a washcloth or small towel and put that in to add a little moisture, especially with heavier clothes like jeans.

So nice to have you back, Twinkie and Nab!

Moo, you won your bet! I went nowhere near an oilchange place yet again today. However, it brightened up just slightly, enough for me to make a quick grocery store run and get essentials like Trisquits (sorry WT!) and sharp cheddar cheese.

My son stopped by this morning and was doing something under the desk in my room. I asked, but he mumbled something, and I was too tired.
I just realized, he was unhooking the antenna from the tv there (which has no cable) and then proceeded to confiscated the 16" tv from my kitchen, LOL. I was wondering since when they have a TV at Pizza Hut when he called to ask what channel the game is on, but it didn't sink in till I just noticed the TV missing.

Hey, we are on page 99!!!

Moo, and anyone else, last year all the commercial for the superbowl were on some site on the net. I am sure they will be again, if you miss any.
DH usually watches TV in his room, but tonight the big HDTV in the living room is his.
I might take a nap and wake up in time for halftime.

Moo, I can relate to that. We have both of your problems here, a farm behind us (not a big one) and a small local airport a couple miles away. Then we have a golf course on the other side behind us. So we hear cowbells jingling (they really wear bells!) and golfers hollering, planes going over, trains in the distance, and traffic noise from the Thruway. It's sort of like that movie Planes, Trains and Automobiles, only throw in the cows and the golfers for good measure. :rotfl:

Woo hoo! I won something. Too bad no money or prizes were involved!

NAB, how booked up was the February cruise? Maybe we should see if we can round up some DISers to go on the same cruise. I would be very tempted.

Martia he doesn't want to miss the Superbowl while at work. :lmao:

Moo I was thinking of doing that never thought of the putting something wet in there with it. I will have to try that.

Actually the Feb 2 to 9 is almost sold out. Alot of people rebook on the cruise because it is cheaper and you get a stateroom credit $200.00. That would pay for all the pictures I bought. :lmao: I would love to meet you for a cruise....

Kay not a bad burn. Hubby is worse. I told him he was getting red on the beach he didn't listen though.

we are not football people but COMMERCIALS ARE A MAYBE.......hahaha....

I have had a rather difficult day with my mama....she thought (again) that today was Monday and was sitting in her hallway waiting for her transportation to take her to the wound center......I found her there saying how cold she was......I went into her hallway which is almost outdoors and asked her where she was going .....she told me the wound center....and I said mama they are closed on Sunday....she said but the van will be here soon and I said mama they dont transport on the weekends.......I am upset because she is old and I dont wnat her to get old......she is only 92 and this forgetting has only been the last few weeks....maybe 3 or 4 ....:sad2:

didnt have enough room to add.........if I dont talk much (yah right) please know that this is all very upsetting to me......i did call the other sister and my other brother to vent and let them add something to this......brother is my moms head hauncho or whatever you call it ....
