So now for something different. Demolition has started on the Contemporary North wing. For an undisclosed improvement..........

I saw a few small photos over on the resorts board tonight, and I hadn't even known this was planned. What a mess. Is there information available on what will replace it and when it will be finished?

Geez, how long is that going on? What a Disney-size MESS! Guess we wont be getting Impetigo at the Concourse Steakhouse whilst chewing on antelope and osterich steaks again any time soon. 3,000 quality posts. Nary two in a row anywhere, except my obsessive need to respond to everyone on my TR before I "learnt" how to multi-quote.

I've made a ton of friends and accidentally hurt a few peep's feelings. But all in all, this has been a blast. I truly enjoy all the laughter and drama (other people's).

So, I'd like to thank my DH for letting me lurk over his shoulder in the beginning ("I love you baby"), and my pixie princess buddy Twinkie who responded to my really bad PRR-Pre-Trip Report in the very beginning and told me I dont sound like my name should be "UtahMama" and that she'd work on a new nick-name for me. How's taht comin' , Twink? And to all y'all who are my real life friends even though I've never heard your voices or seen you face to face.


I hope y'all know I'm just pretending to be all full of myself. (My most certainly does not smell good. HA! HA! HA! Hahahahahaha! )

No official word ( I know NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!). Go to the disney rumors board in the CB section for the official rumors.

Supposedly it is quiet and disrupts nothing at Chef Mickey at al.

You guys are killing me with the McDonalds menu! Since I am no longer on the road for work, my McDiet has improved a lot, but I still like their breakfast foods. Lowell and I always get a big stack of napkins, though, and press as much grease out of the sausage and hash browns as we can. I feel slightly less guilty eating the stuff once it has been "degreased."

And, I can't believe I never thought of degreasing my Mickey D breakfast foods like that. My family usually starts our road trips with a breakfast there.

I always sop the grease off my pizza with paper towels (not that I've had any lately - it's been over a month).

I see WT was causing havoc over on the riddle thread today. If anyone knows the answer, please let me know!

I was out for dinner tonight with one of the friends I went to Disney with. She brought her photos. She couldn't believe when she got them developed that she had not taken a single group photo. Nor did she have any photos taken of herself!!! Oh well. She's still going to send me a CD of them. Should be interesting to see my other friends' photos. I was the one who was taking all the group shots before my camera stopped functioning and ate the photos I had taken.

Marita, thanks for sharing the Contemporary demolition photo. I couldn't see the other photos that are posted here and there very well either.

Demolition's not loud . . . yeah, right! If Disney has found a way to keep it quiet, they ought to patent it!

Feel free to use the revised UMA tag line any time you like. Lowell and I have been known to eat pie or cake for breakfast, so it's pretty close to the truth for us! I never could get into cold pizza for breakfast, though.

As for the Mickey D pre-road trip breakfasts, bring a can for the grease and you can lube your car with the excess off your sausage and hash browns.

Looks like snow out there.......hmmmmmmmm ....weather says only a flurry or so........sitting here waiting for the egg lady to come.....I love my fresh eggs and they are so good.......HONEST.....

One rug rat is on the couch....she has a belly ache.....poor kid.....but I think it may be cause she went to a hockey game last night and is way wayyyyyyyyyy over tired.......her mom thinks so too......so she is laying on the couch.....

I just went out with wet hair to get some soda. I swear, there's a slipery slope to Redneckville (a suburb of Margaritaville). Soda is Mormon-Coffee which is a cultural joke I hope you "got".


Is everyone working on their new improved Profile/Homepages? There's blogging and chat capabilites. I've heard to set it for security so you can approve who can comment etc. I'm totally lost with it, but it's fun to explore. Pretty user-friendly.

I miss them and wish they were here to post something clever. Snowed here today about a half and inch. Enough so that I had to shovel it off the driveway. Otherwise my car will press it down and it turns to ice.

I had a craptastic day at work today. I'm hoping it snows tonight so that we can have a snow day tomorrow!!!

Thank goodness for those Nestle toll house break-and-bake cookies. I do not feel like baking from scratch these days and those cookies really satisfy that chocolate beastie inside!!
