Open Mike Night - Everyone is Welcome

Oh! I know! (madly waving arm in the air) I know the answer, Gram!!! Pick me.

You thought of "Moo"!!

Ha ha ha ha ha! Great photo. Thanks for sharing. Got any other good ones to post? We want to see you and Grampy when you were younger!

Hi Moo. I will pick you.

Wheat Thins

Good afternoon everyone! You all have been busy!

I'm having one of those days too. It's called "Monday". Yep!::yes::

Are you taking lessons from me with that arm waving :lmao: :lmao:

And are you trying to say we are old?????

:dance3: :dance3: :dance3:

Grammy you both look very snazzy! I like it!

Cheryl! What a beauty you are!!!!! I love Grampy's Disco suit! Was he wearing shiney white dancin' shoes? The cow photo is really cool too. The real live Minnie Moo.

Cheryl:

Woooooooooot wooooooooo. Uhhhhh, the dress is a little low isn't it? Where's Lil Grumpy when you need him?

Windy:

That "i" really does look like an "e". You should fix that.

Whoa. A new dating reality show on cable tv. Can't believe I'm watching it. Gay, Straight or Taken. One girl, three guys. She has to kind the straight one that is available. This is weird. Kinda entertaining though and nothing else is on until 24.

I DO! What do you wanna do about it huh? :furious:

Gorgeous pic, Grammy Cheryl!!!!! Here's a :firefight to cool Wheat Thins down! And Lil G when he shows up :rotfl2: At least it's not the firefighter who got someone in trouble over on the DISappearing Peeps thread :rolleyes2

Sorry you're PMSing, WT! It is 18 degrees here and snowing a very fine, slippery snow. I took my time driving home from work. And may I just say that I HATE February? It is my least favorite month of the year, so I'm glad someone likes it. The only thing that could make me like February is if I were going to Disney then.

The Schwan's guy just stopped by. I got some more yummy chipotle chicken mini tacos. If I don't lose weight this week, I think I'll know the reason why I didn't

I too use snazzy.......I tell the kiddos that too.......I went out to lunch with one rug rat and my sister and my niece.....but came home feeling like YUCK......maybe the salmon tried to spawn with the shrimp or the squid.....but YUCK.......I am just having a lite snack now to calm down my bs;s.....

Hope all is well on your homefronts.....it is going to be wicked cold again this week.starting with today

Frost warning in Orlando tonight, again! High was 56, but clear and sunny. Still frigging dang cold! Going all the way to 60 tomorrow! At this rate, I need to buy more warm sweaters... and you know I hate shopping. By the time I order any online and they get here, it will be 80's again (I hope). Maybe I should plan ahead for next year?

Snazzy is a great word! Kinda jazzy and snappy all rolled into one. A twofer. Good choice , Dre!

WheatThins- I've seen that show too. A few times. It's a wonderful waste of 30 minutes.

Moo- I'm watching you.....:bitelip: Just kidding. From one who just ate a huge non-diet dinner! I was practically starving to death. Now for desert, a Skinny Cow!!! Moo, it's the perfect desert. Have you tried them? I thought of you when I bought them.

Marita- thanks for the weather report :goodvibes Glad Twinkie and Nab are in good weather.

Cold at 60! Oh boy. Can I come work at your house this week? All I need is an internet connection. I promise to be quiet. You'll hardly know I'm there. :)

:wave2: Just stopped in during a commercial. I'm watching the new "Enterprise" series on the science-fiction channel. Any other "trekkies" besides me out there?

Marita, you should go to one of the Disney shops and buy yourself a sweatshirt or sweater with a Disney character on it! I wouldn't think they'd mind if you wore something like that at work . . . or do you have a dress code?

WT, 24 sounds more like your speed. We are making do with a How I Met Your Mother re-run.

Uma, I'm mostly being good. Had one major slip-up Sunday night when my hubby ticked me off. Oh well, at least that Christmas candy is no longer around to tempt me! It was an expensive gift (from Williams-Sonoma), so I just couldn't bring myself to give it away or pitch it.

My DD loved eating skinny cows when she was on WW. I prefer the WW fudgesicles. Just had one in fact!

Moo, sadly Disney sweatshirts with characters don't meet dress code.

Good point though, I wonder why not? :confused3

Years ago, the rage for managers was for bemuda shorts with knee high socks and dress jackets. Anyone remember that? Early 90's I think. Anyway, the head hauncho at WDW thought that was just a swell look, and a lot of the lower managers rushed to adopt the look.

Back in the 70's, the look for any manager with any fashion sense (mind you, these were mostly males back then) was to wear white belts and white dress shoes, it was the "unofficial" sign of a manager.

Somewhere in the 90's, I think after the bermuda short phase, Disney hired a couple of guys from Marriott, who decided that the only permissible look was the banker look, in black, gray or navy. Do you know how horrible I look in any of those colors?
These days things are fairly relaxed, guys dont need ties anymore (of course a lot do, depending on where they work or what level they are). Ladies can even wear pants without pantyhose (:scared1: ), but still required with skirts. No toeless shoes either.

So there you go, a short lesson in Disney dress code.

But no character sweatshirts!!

when we were there in december the temp some nights was in the sixties and some of the cms had p coats on......laughed my head off as it was really mild at sixty.....we had on shorts and shirts and we were comfortable.....
