Ooh! Ooh! I won, I won! I won a prize in the Market Day Give Away last month! I mean, I just found out about it...that I won, I mean. See, I'm all giddy. They gave away four trips to WDW. Too bad I did NOT win that. They also gave away 100 Ipod type deals. S'okay. I just got one, to entice me to go to the gym and work out regularly. (Not working for me so far...)

No, I won one of 1000 Best Buy Gift Cards for $25. So I'm trying to think, what should I use it for??? We don't even have a Best Buy in our small little town. I'll have to drive an hour to use it!

I bought a lime green t-shirt when I was out shopping today. Because it's now officially less than a year until my next WDW trip, so you see the urgency.

Goog morning! I hope you all have a wonderfu day. I have one of those days that are so busy that you just give up and add more things to do... (note to a anyone in the family planning stages... having your kids birthdays very close together is helpful when they are tiny and then is just stressful for the rest of your life)

Well I have a day full of dentists and realtors and the twin's birthday at school (due to allergies we can't bring cake..... woohooty! I am going to buy popsicles.... my kids don't even like cake... )

Happy Birthday to the TWINKIE TWINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They are so cute too.( I know I met them) I bet they are jumping all over the place today because it is their birthday.

If they don't like cake what do you make them? Hubby's birthday is next week and I'm making him a giant chocolate chip cookie that I trim with icing and write Happy Birthday on, even put candles in it.

Kimmie, I miss watching gymnastics. My daughter didn't want to do it anymore. Homework got the best of her and she couldn't handle both at the beginning of the year. But I wouldn't make her do something she didn't want.

I am here......but sort of vegging......we are trying to convince our mom to go to an assisted living or residential care place.....she gave me a hard week and it is better not to say it all the time.......I dont want you guys thinking I am crabby....
We went to walmart the other day and got Megara a squeaky squirrel......well she grabbed it and it squeaked and the dog dropped that sucker and ran for the living room......hubby and I had a good laugh about it. she is a wimp. Tonight the wind chills are supposed to get to 25- 30 below zero.......I dont like that .....and then tomorrow into Wednesday.....snowstorm.......instead of being south of Maine it curled up and we are going to get it......have I told you my friends........HUBBY AND I ARE NOT LOVERS OF SNOW OR COLD.......hahahaha...the stork dropped us in the wrong area...

Happy birthday to the twins....oh yah my kids do not like cake either.....my son was born on Turkey day so he has a pie still for his birthday....I make a cake now and it gets thrown out before it is half gone.....even the rug rats prefer my brownies or ice cream......oh well....less on my middle.

Birthday pie, hubby would like that. He loves pie but the kids don't so I don't make pies to often. Plus my pies don't look pretty. MIL pies look like they are out of magazines and mine not so much. I usually have to patch the crust. Not pretty indeed.

Well, DH stayed home from work today because his back is hurting him. I guess that over 800lbs on the surry(SURI) bike did him in. So he decided to help me with school. Which was WONDERFUL! He did some "easy" stuff with Seth, which meant I could focus only on Jeremiah. His phonics took over an hour! Sometime around 8:30 DH put the baby in his room to play. I said,"Put shorts on him!!!" He said,"He's just playing right now not napping" A while later DH decided it was time for Kaleb to take a nap. Fast forward to 11, he goes in to get Kaleb up. I could tell by the utter silence that something was amiss. I went in there to find a craptastrophe. Guess who didn't put shorts on the baby? So for the next hour I was cleaning the baby, wiping down all the toys, picking up stray "pieces" (we had corn last night) and finally I was down balancing on my feet, squating(I didn't want my pants to touch the floor) scrubbing the ENTIRE room(carpet). I was SO MAD at DH! Why can't DH's just LISTEN to us????????????????

Thankfully, I only have 3 more days before DH and I get away for 2 nights at WDW!

I guess there are times I am happy I never had children. Hope you got everything cleaned up OK and have thought up a suitable punishment for your DH!

No one thinks you are crabby, Pumba. If you can't vent to your friends, what are we good for? I hope your mom listens to you and gives assisted living etc. a try. Most of those places are great for planned activities and making new friends, plus she will get around the clock care when she needs it. And when you go visit, you will enjoy each other's company so much more, minus all the stress you're dealing with now. Making a big change like that is hard, and it is very tough for elderly people who see it as a loss of independence, but in the end they are usually happier. I hope it all works out OK for you.

I raced this morning to make it to my 10am conference call on time. Boss finally called at 10:05. Today was the first day for a weekly every Monday morning call.
